The freezer still holds but the main compartment drifts upward, usually after a circulation fan quits, a damper jams shut or frost smothers the coil.

A cooling problem sometimes clears up with a small adjustment. Check these four things first.
Target roughly 37°F up top, with the freezer set to 0°F. Controls get nudged by shelves and grocery bags.
Pull tall jars and cartons forward so they don't block the rear openings in each compartment.
Unplug the unit, pop off the toe grille and clean the coils beneath with a vacuum wand.
Shut the fridge on a strip of notebook paper. If the strip slides free with no drag, the gasket may be worn.
