Oven repairs around Murphy

Three home cooks on their oven visit.

With Thanksgiving four days out, our oven stalled at 250. He showed up the following morning, replaced the faulty piece then baked a test tray to prove it held 350.
Giacomo L.Timbers
Locked door after self-clean, sorted in one trip. Fair price.
Eloisa H.Maxwell Creek North
For a year I turned every tray mid-bake because one side ran hot. Should have called sooner.

Look at these first

Before assuming the worst, look at these four settings and parts.

  • Clock after an outage

A brief outage can leave the oven ignoring Bake until the clock is programmed again.

  • Panel lock

Unresponsive buttons usually point to the child lock; hold its key until the padlock icon disappears.

  • Bottom element

When cold, check the lower coil for splits, bubbles or shiny patches.

  • Thermometer test

Heat to 350°F and wait twenty minutes; a thermometer hung on the rack should land within a few degrees of the screen.

Leave these to us

  • Igniters and gas valves
  • Bake and broil elements
  • Latches and electronic controls

Repairs like these come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.
